Zoh my goodness! I've been drawing? What?

So these are most of the sketches I've done of my Winx Club character Charlie. I'm not entirely happy with her fairy outfit or her wings.

Her power theme is stars/outer space. When you do anything to do with space it can easily segue into the nerd theme. When I first created Charlie's outfit it was a full body cat suit which was similar to Tecna's outfit. Not a good start. I tried to reference the other girls for ideas but their outfits are super revealing. I did not want Charlie's outfit to show a lot of skin either. I like the leotard idea so I've just been developing that. Still in progress.
As for the helmet, in the series the next level in becoming a fairy is to earn your Charmix, which ends up being some sort of stupid accessory (i.e. Bloom's fuzzy pink tiny heart purse). I was just playing with the idea of a helmet being part of the transformation when it hit me that the helmet could be the Charmix. I have to say that's a pretty cool accessory.
I don't think I'll have a story for her but I want to develop her character and the outfit some more. But who knows.

She's adorkable! You have no idea how much I appreciate you making her outfit more modest. <333 Nice departure from the kinda stiff, barbie-doll character feel that the first 5 girls had X)

definetly going for more coverage. I appreciate the fashion in the show and incorporating modest dress within the canon is very interesting. Currently working on muslim character that has a winx form. Very interesting to work with.
